Meet the Owner

Billy grew up in Rockwood, Tennessee and worked in Machining during his early years. He has worked as a machine operator and then moved up to become a machinist at Richards Industries. Later on he took a new job making tungsten carbide in the Wear Parts Division of the Hertel Cutting Technologies company in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A few years later he met the love of his life and moved to Eastern North Carolina to be with her and has been there ever since. His sister-in-law and his wife decided to open a small shop in Grimesland, North Carolina in 2015. He was tasked to provide subject matter for their paint classes and so his love for WuudCrafting was born.
